Planned Giving

Arellano FamilyIt’s no surprise that Agustin “Konky” Arellano ’90 has been leading the charge with RE’s Alumni Board. He considers his time at Ransom Everglades “six of the most important years of my life” and is dedicated to giving back to the school. He made his first big “splash” during the campaign to build the Ansin Aquatic Center, where the Arellano family donated one of the pool lanes.

Since then, he has invested countless hours and personal support to ensuring that Ransom Everglades can continue to enroll Miami’s top students, regardless of their financial situation. Konky’s interest in the future of the RE community extends to including a generous commitment for scholarship support, made through his living trust. “The more I know about Ransom Everglades, the more I want to give,” he shared. “Through the planned giving program, I can easily make a gift through my estate to support an institution that means so much to me.”
